This is your once in a lifetime chance to become a groom to the Queens horses. Whilst the salary is 20,000 pound, not an amount to laugh at, the successful applicant will receive accommodation at Windsor Castle House.

As a Groom at the Royal Mews, you will be responsible for:

• Carrying out stable management duties in accordance with the Stud Groom’s direction;
• Exercising horses and ponies on a daily basis;
• Assisting with the training of young ponies;
• Cleaning saddlery; and
• Assisting in the maintenance of the routine cleanliness of the Royal Mews, Windsor Castle

To succeed in this role, you will:

• be proficient in all aspects of stable management;
• be a capable and confident rider;
• be able to communicate clearly and effectively;
• be able to work cohesively as part of a team;
• possess a flexible, proactive and productive attitude to work.
• and, ideally, possess a recognized equine qualification(s) (e.g. BHS, BDS, NVQ, Equine Diploma or equivalent).

And one would think that would need to be proficient at the Bow or Curtsey.
