EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST – Peter Shaw Clinic & Competition

Last weekend a group of FSCDA members took part in a two day clinic with Peter Shaw at Melissa Whants lovely facilities in South Pambula.  They were so taken with Peter’s instructing, that Pip will be arranging the following and hopes to get your feelings & interest on the events over the Easter Weekend.  Facebook, email or SMS your feedback so she can make final arrangements with Peter for this AMAZING WEEKEND…..
Peter Shaw E Level Seminar, Lessons & Competition – 4 day Easter weekend Fri 25th – Mon 28th March at Bemboka Showground
Peter will conduct a Judges E Level Seminar, lessons & possibly a comp if we have enough interest. The benefit of a comp would be so that current judges can co-judge with him as part of their ongoing education.  Beginner judges can sit in with him to get their eye in and learn useful terms and comments whilst judging. Riders have the benefit of an A Level coach to receive useful feedback.

Notice of 2016 FSCDA Annual General Meeting. 

The Annual General Meeting of the Far South Coast Dressage Association will be held on Tuesday 23rd February 2016 from 6pm in the Meeting Room at Club Bega 82 Gipps Street Bega.

The following positions will be declared vacant.

All members are invited to attend and nominate for any of the above positions.

FSCDA – Horse & Rider Profile

The Championships are getting closer  and we would like some information about you our members and your brilliant horses!
This information will be used for broadcast at the championships next weekend and maybe from time to time to view on our website.  Fill in as much information as possible and remember if you have any sponsors don’t forget to list them.

FSCDA Presentation Day/Night Saturday 21st November 2015

2015 FAR SOUTH COAST DRESSAGE ASSOCIATION AWARDS NIGHT

Please join us to celebrate & present our members with their achievement awards and trophies for the 2015 season.

The day will start off with an afternoon ride around the Bemboka Common (for those who wish to bring their horses), then continue into the evening with drinks, nibbles and awards.  Our super culinary people will be catering for the evening providing a tasty BBQ.

Date: Saturday 21st November 2015

Where:  Bemboka Show Ground

 Ride:  Early Afternoon

Awards & Dinner:  From 6pm

RESULTS – FSCDA September Dressage Competition

What more could you ask for? A beautiful day on the South Coast, sunbeams, a dressage competition and great people.

The numbers seemed to be  down for the day, with quite a few scratchings, but the quality of the horse and rider combinations were super.

A big thank you to our judges for the day Nell Marshman, Larissa Chadwick and Marissa Brant, also to our pencillers, Judy Bourke, Sue Hergenhan, Victoria Smith and to our wonderful catering team, Les Hayes & Wop who also double as Pip’s strapper.

We were lucky to watch the lovely DP Impressions go round for his first Official dressage test.  Lauren and DP Impressions  have an impressive record in the Hacking world which includes placing Runner Up Large Hack at the 2015 Equestrian NSW Horse of the Year on the 6th Mar 2015.  Hopefully we will see Lauren and DP Impressions for future competitions.

Thanks to everyone that made the September competition successful.
